We measure both feet — they are rarely the same — and check width, arch and heel depth. You leave in a size that is genuinely yours, not the one you have assumed since school.

Trainers and walking boots matched to your gait and mileage. We ask how far you go and on what surface, then narrow the range to two or three real candidates.

Heels, soles, stitching, stretching and full leather care. A good pair repaired twice costs less than three cheap replacements — and stays broken in to your foot.

We are deliberately small. The person who measures your feet is the person who recommends the shoe, orders your size and handles the repair two years later. Nothing gets lost between departments, because there aren't any.

Yes, with no obligation to buy. We would rather measure you honestly and send you away with your correct size than sell you something that will not work. Plenty of people come back later — that is fine by us.
We order in wherever a suitable model exists, and we will tell you the realistic lead time up front. If nothing in our range suits your foot, we will say so and point you toward what will — even if that means you buy elsewhere.
Bring them with you. We fit around them, favouring removable footbeds and extra depth so the orthotic sits correctly. We are footwear fitters rather than clinicians, so we work alongside your practitioner's advice, not instead of it.
Most heel and sole work is turned around within a few working days. You get a firm quote before we start, and if a repair is not economically worth doing we will tell you rather than take the job.
